Probe Assembly (Removable Encoder)

Featuring portability and rugged, field-tested impact resistance.
Equipped with an encoder scanning head and a display control interface

Electromagnetic Eddy Current Testing Technology: A constant current in the sensor coil generates a magnetic field that penetrates the test object, inducing eddy currents within it. After the primary magnetic field is switched off, analyzing the rate at which these eddy currents decay allows you to detect defects and variations in the metal thickness of the test object. Based on this technology, our pulsed eddy current flaw detector PE4332 operates effectively, enabling non-destructive testing of objects even through insulation layers up to 30 centimeters thick.

Objectively set the insulation layer thickness for each phase separately.
The instrument's definition and description of the phase in the measured area
- Non-destructive, rapid detection of insulation layer thickness in pipelines, storage tanks, insulated vessels, as well as thick paint or epoxy coatings—ideal for high- and low-temperature lines. This is the best solution for quick, non-invasive thickness measurement and defect detection of thick insulation materials without the need for dismantling.
- Portable field design with a rich interface and versatile feature settings, offering battery life exceeding 8 hours.
- Equipped with A-scan/B-scan/C-scan modes, the device features a USB interface for quick export of inspection results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can't charge the device?
The device may have been left unused for too long, causing the battery to lose charge. You can try charging it for an extended period. If there’s still no response, we recommend sending it in for repair. Also, please use the dedicated charger provided for each device when charging.
Can't connect the thickness gauge's flat plate to the instrument?
First, turn on the tablet’s hotspot and check whether the eight-digit number in the hotspot name matches the eight-digit SN code of the device. If they don’t match, make the necessary adjustments. Then, follow the instructions in the manual to connect the tablet. If you’re still unable to proceed, we recommend contacting customer support for assistance.
How can I fix the issue of fluctuating readings during thickness measurement?
It is recommended to connect the flat plate during the thickness measurement process and observe the waveform. If the waveform appears poor, switch to manual mode for inspection. If no consistent waveform is detected, consider potential material issues or probe damage—replace the probe and try again. If no waveform still appears after replacing the probe, the material itself may be of poor quality, making it unable to generate an effective signal.
