China's industry standard system for testing equipment is undergoing a comprehensive upgrade, with the number of currently valid standards now exceeding 1,200—including 60% national standards and 30% industry-specific standards. This upgrade places particular emphasis on refining standards in emerging areas such as intelligent testing devices and green detection technologies, while also clearly defining key requirements like AI-based detection accuracy calibration and low-energy consumption benchmarks.

In the field of environmental monitoring, the revised HJ 653 standard further enhances the accuracy of detecting pollutants such as PM2.5 and VOCs; meanwhile, a new specification for nanometer-level measurement error has been introduced in the semiconductor testing sector. The standard system also strengthens alignment with international benchmarks, with several key indicators now referencing ISO and IEC international standards, thereby supporting domestically produced equipment in expanding globally.

The market regulatory authorities stated that they will establish a dynamic standard update mechanism, revising more than 10% of standards annually in line with technological advancements, while also conducting targeted inspections to ensure effective implementation and drive high-quality development across the industry.
